The CSA Choir
“The CSA Choir has brought me back to God and to God’s people… Within its circle I find peace, love, comfort, warmth, friendship and so much more. I look forward to Thursday night rehearsal; it is a time of peace and quiet after a busy, sometimes frantic, day at the office. My spirit is fed as our voices blend, as we learn new anthems or dive into an old favorite.” - Nancy Lauterbach
Members of the Choir, composed of men and women who come together in rehearsal on Thursday evenings and before service on Sundays, proclaim their love of music and service to God.
“Choir is a place I come for friendship, fun and music. The friendships I've made in the choir will be with me forever.”
- David Hyman
The choir consists of more than 20 members (SATB), performing under the able direction of the Minister of Music, the Reverend Deborah Fae Swift, a gifted pianist, composer, singer, conductor and teacher.
“The choir is like a second family to me. We have a prayer circle after each practice on Thursday evenings, where we can share our concerns or ask for prayers. I know I could ask for help/advice from just about any choir member, and I would do the same for them. It’s a great group.” - Cathy Buggie
The Choir offers special music services, such as the Christmas and Easter cantatas and outdoor worship, Chicken and Jazz, featuring Brian Soule and Wells Albro. Guest artists have included A Touch of Brass; Diana Witkowski Jazz Ensemble; and violin prodigy Boian Boianov.
